What is the difference between protection and security?
Protection is anticipatory, meaning the work performed in advance so that an incident never begins. Security is reactive, meaning the capability to detect and respond once an incident is underway. Shadow provides protection and treats reactive security as a necessary supporting layer.
Does Shadow provide armed protection?
Where the threat assessment supports it and the jurisdiction licenses it. Most corporate and event protection is correctly unarmed. Armed coverage requires a state specific armed security license in the jurisdiction where the work is performed.
How does an engagement with Shadow begin?
Every engagement begins with a confidential consultation covering the principal's profile, environment, and specific concern.
